The Nigerian Investor's Podcast
Maiden Episode
In this first episode of The Nigerian Investor (TNI) Podcast, host Mudiaga and cohost, Aye looks at the benefits of engaging the Nigeria Stock Market as retail investor. They started of by trying to demystify some of the misconceptions held by the Nigerian public which make the turn out ratio of retail investors in the NSE very low. They also touched on how compound interest works and why every investor should develop the art of consistency. Finally, this episode points out an important fact that often hides in plain sight, and that is the fact that almost everything we consume as Nigerians on a daily basis are produced and controlled by companies that are listed on the floor of the NSE. This point, according the podcast hosts, makes it important for the general public to participate in the Nigeria Stock Market.
